Cambridge is one of Britain’s most famous cities. It combines the atmosphere of a rural town with the grandeur and tradition of its ancient university which dominates the city. The university began in 1209, when fighting between scholars and locals in Oxford led to students setting up a university in Cambridge, and it’s now one of the world’s top universities. It has educated some of the world’s top minds including Charles Darwin, Alan Turing, and Stephen Hawking.

– Hike around the beautiful greenery of Cambridge, following the River Cam down through Grantchester Meadows.
– Explore the little streets and try some food in the historic market square.
– See King’s College and its stunning Gothic chapel, the most photographed building in Cambridge.
– See the colleges where Charles Darwin, Stephen Hawking, and other notable people studied, and see Newton’s apple tree.
– Walk through the park where first official football game was played.
– See the golden Corpus Clock, worth over £1 million.
– Some free time where you can take a chauffeured punting boat ride along the river Cam and under the Bridge of Sighs, visit the beautiful university colleges, and climb up Great St Mary’s Church for panoramic views of Cambridge.
