DESTINATION INFO:Stratford-upon-Avon is a market town steeped in the history of its most famous resident, William Shakespeare, regarded as the world’s greatest playwright. The town has many 16th century Tudor buildings including the home where Shakespeare was born, the cottage where Anne Hathaway resided before their marriage, and the church where the couple is buried. The Royal Shakespeare Company resides in Stratford’s Royal Shakespeare Theatre, one of Britain’s most important cultural venues. The Stratford-upon-Avon Canal passes through enchanting countryside in the heart of England, cutting through the Forest of Arden and an area rich in Shakespearean history.

ITINERARY:# 8.30am – We’re meeting outside the Eventim Apollo building. The address is: 45 Queen Caroline St, Hammersmith, London, W6 9QH. It’s just outside Hammersmith tube station. Arrive early here so we can check you off the guest list, and you have time to get a coffee, use the toilets, meet everyone, and board the coach before it leaves. # 8.40am – Coach departs. # 11am – We’ll arrive in Stratford-upon-Avon, and we’ll have our guided tour of the town. # 1.45pm – We’ll have a lunch break. # 2.45pm – Free time to explore the city, visit attractions, museums, take photos, try local foods, and buy souvenirs. # 5.15pm – Meet outside the Stratford-upon-Avon Visitor Information Centre. Map: http://goo.gl/maps/rvIUM . The coach will be waiting for us here. # 5.30pm – Coach departs. # 8pm – Arrive back at Hammersmith in London. Then we’ll go for food and drinks nearby. Bring your photo ID.
